Craig Bezant is an Australian writer, dabbling in crime thrillers, dark fantasy/horror/speculative fiction. He finds these genres give him equilibrium between his studies as a training teacher and being a parent. However, whilst Craig soaks up many works within his field, he also devotes a large proportion of his reading outside his genre. Come to think of it, he does the same with movie-watching too. I guess life isn't always scary - you have to laugh, and cry, and throw your brain at the wall...
